Violet & Shayne’s Super Sunny Beachside Wedding at Caloundra Power Boat Club

There is something undeniably magical about a beachside wedding on the Sunshine Coast. The salt in the air. The sand underfoot. The sunshine seems to glow just a little brighter for the occasion.

Violet and Shayne chose to celebrate at Caloundra Power Boat Club in beautiful Caloundra, and it was the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt, family-centred day.

A Beachside Ceremony Filled With Heart

From the very beginning, you could feel how intentional this day was.

Violet’s son walked her down the aisle, and there was not a dry eye in sight. That moment alone carried so much meaning. It was tender. Proud. Emotional. The kind of memory that deserves to be frozen in time.

They also paused to remember Violet’s father with a customised sign placed thoughtfully within the ceremony space at Caloundra Power Boat Club. It was a quiet but powerful tribute. The type of detail that speaks volumes about love that continues beyond one day.

Calling in Friends and Celebrating Big

Violet and Shayne called in their friends to stand beside them, cheer them on, and surround them with support. There was a relaxed, joyful energy throughout the entire ceremony.

Sunshine Coast weddings can sometimes come with strong light and bright skies, and this one was super sunny. The Queensland sun was out in full force, but it only made the colours pop more and the joy shine brighter against the stunning Caloundra backdrop.

When they were pronounced husband and wife, the cheers carried straight out toward the water.

Portraits by the Water in Caloundra

After the ceremony, we stepped out for portraits by the beach.

The sunlight was bold and golden. The sky was clear. Violet’s dress moved beautifully in the breeze. Shayne could not stop smiling.

Beachside portraits have a timeless quality. The wide horizon, the sparkling water, and the coastal light create images that feel both relaxed and romantic. Violet and Shayne were completely at ease together.
