There is something so effortlessly romantic about a garden wedding in South Australia. The greenery. The open sky. The gentle breeze through the trees.

Sarah and Lee chose to say their vows at Bill Potts Memorial Garden in beautiful Hazelwood Park, and it was the perfect setting for their intimate celebration.

With our Mini Package, their day was focused, relaxed, and centred on the moments that matter most.

A Beautiful Ceremony in the Gardens

Bill Potts Memorial Garden in Hazelwood Park SA is such a hidden gem for weddings. Tucked among lush greenery and natural surrounds, it creates a soft and peaceful ceremony space that feels both private and picturesque.

As guests gathered beneath the trees, there was a calm anticipation in the air. Garden weddings have a way of slowing everything down. The natural backdrop does so much of the styling for you, which is one of the reasons we love photographing there.

Sarah walked into the garden ceremony space glowing. Lee’s expression said everything. That quiet pride. That steady excitement. That moment of realising this is it.

It was simple. Heartfelt. Beautiful.

Making the Most of the Mini Package

Mini weddings have a special kind of magic. They strip everything back to the essentials.

After the ceremony at Bill Potts Memorial Garden, we captured portraits within the gardens while the light was soft and flattering. The greenery framed Sarah and Lee perfectly, and the natural tones made their images feel timeless.

When timing allowed, we also travelled to their reception location at Feathers Hotel Greenhouse Restaurant to capture a few celebratory moments. The Greenhouse Restaurant at Feathers Hotel in nearby Burnside offered a relaxed and stylish setting to continue the festivities.

It is something we love doing when possible, maximising coverage within the Mini Package so couples walk away with a fuller story of their day.

A Smart Budget Choice

Sarah and Lee made a clever decision when planning their reception.

Rather than choosing a full drinks package, they opted for drinks on consumption. It is such a practical way to manage costs, especially for smaller guest lists. You only pay for what is actually enjoyed, which can make a significant difference to the final bill.

Garden ceremony. Intimate guest list. Smart reception planning. It all came together beautifully.

Sarah and Lee, thank you for trusting us to capture your Hazelwood Park garden wedding. It was an absolute joy to be part of your South Australia celebration.

And Sarah’s tip for keeping her day affordable? Drinks on consumption rather than drinks package
