Maddy and Rod celebrated their wedding at Amarti Wedding Venue in Cowwarr, Victoria, with a day that blended romance, tradition and unforgettable moments. While an unexpected power outage could have been a challenge, it created an incredibly intimate atmosphere, with hundreds of candles lighting the ceremony and reception in the most magical way.

The ceremony was held inside, where Maddy honoured her New Zealand heritage by wearing a traditional feather cloak as she walked partway down the aisle before passing it to her mum. It was a beautiful and meaningful moment that set the tone for the day.

A drone view of Amarti Wedding Venue showcased the stunning gardens, winding pathways and picturesque grounds, highlighting just how beautiful the venue is from above.

After the ceremony, the couple explored the gardens for relaxed portraits surrounded by lush greenery. The peaceful setting created timeless images before the celebrations continued.

As night fell, the candlelit reception became even more magical. The warm glow from countless candles created a moody and romantic atmosphere, making every moment feel incredibly intimate.

The reception also featured another special nod to Maddy's heritage, with a traditional haka performed. It was a powerful and emotional celebration that brought family and friends together to end an unforgettable wedding day.
