Mariele and James celebrated a beautiful traditional wedding surrounded by faith, family and a wonderful community at their church on Warrener Street in Nerang.
From the beginning, the day was filled with heartfelt and personal touches. Friends and family played a huge role in making the celebration special. A friend lovingly made the wedding cake, parents prepared the food, and many of the decorations were sourced second hand or hired locally through Marketplace. It was a perfect example of how a meaningful wedding does not need to be extravagant to feel incredibly special.
Mariele looked stunning in her elegant lace gown and veil, while James kept things classic in a light suit that matched the warm Queensland setting. Their ceremony was reverent and joyful, led by their pastor in the place that holds deep meaning for them as a couple.
One of the most fun moments came as the newly married couple walked back down the aisle. Guests lined the way, filling the air with bubbles as everyone cheered and celebrated their first steps as husband and wife.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued with laughter, photos and time together with the people who helped make the day possible. The entire wedding reflected what mattered most to Mariele and James: faith, family and community.
It was a joyful and genuine day that perfectly captured the beauty of a traditional church wedding.
