There is something incredibly special about a wedding in Adelaide that begins with sunshine, gently turns overcast, and somehow becomes even more beautiful because of it. Madeline and Jon’s South Australia wedding day carried that exact kind of magic.

From the very beginning, there was a warmth around these two. Not just in the weather, but in their faith, their families, and the deep joy they clearly feel about becoming husband and wife.

Bridal Prep in Wattle Park, South Australia

Madeline began her morning in Wattle Park surrounded by laughter, loyal bridesmaids, and some very proud parents. The energy during bridal prep was so much fun. There were giggles, excited glances in mirrors, and those quiet emotional pauses that happen when everything suddenly feels real.

Then came Jon’s letter.

He encouraged Madeline beautifully, reminding her that God works all things together for good. It was grounding, Christ-centred, and such a beautiful foundation for the covenant they were about to enter. We absolutely love it when couples weave their faith into their day in such an intentional way. It adds depth that goes far beyond aesthetics.

A Classic Ceremony at St Bart’s Anglican Church, Adelaide

Their ceremony was held at St Bart’s Anglican Church, a timeless Adelaide church setting that carried both tradition and reverence.

Madeline and Jon were glowing at the altar. Just steady, joyful, and completely focused on each other. There is something so powerful about vows spoken in front of family and friends in a church that has seen generations of weddings before.

When they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife, the celebration had already begun.

Palm House Portraits at Adelaide Botanic Garden

After the ceremony, we headed to the iconic Palm House at the Adelaide Botanic Garden for bridal party portraits.

The overcast skies gave us the dreamiest soft light. The lush greenery of the Palm House created a stunning contrast against Madeline’s gown, and the bridal party brought so much personality to every frame.

Reception at House on Haines, Tea Tree Gully, SA

The celebration continued at House on Haines, a venue that blends charm and warmth so effortlessly.

The reception space looked stunning. The cake was absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere felt full and alive in the best possible way. Madeline and Jon had that unmistakable newlywed glow all evening, soaking in hugs, speeches, and the joy of their people gathered around them.

Madeline and Jon, thank you for trusting us to capture your South Australian wedding day. It is always such an honour to step into moments like these and preserve them forever.
