Josh and Kelle chose to celebrate at Inner Light Tea Rooms on Lighthouse Road in beautiful Nelson Bay, and their day could not have been more perfect.

The afternoon began at Landmark Resort Nelson Bay where Kelle and her girls were getting ready. The atmosphere was full of excitement, laughter, and those quiet reflective moments before everything begins.

Meanwhile, Josh was preparing at home in Nelson Bay, surrounded by familiar comfort. Getting ready locally always adds a sense of ease to the morning. No long drives. No rush. Just calm anticipation building toward the ceremony.

Both of them wore big smiles from the very start.

A Bright and Joy Filled Ceremony at Inner Light Tea Rooms

At three in the afternoon, guests gathered at Inner Light Tea Rooms overlooking the water. It was a stunning, bright, sunny day in Nelson Bay. The kind of coastal light photographers dream about.

When Kelle made her entrance, the setting felt cinematic. The ocean backdrop. The lighthouse nearby. The wide open sky.

Josh’s face lit up instantly.

Their ceremony was filled with joy from beginning to end. You could feel how much these two adore each other. And when they were finally announced husband and wife, the cheer that erupted from their guests was huge. Loud. Proud. Unfiltered excitement.

It was one of those announcement moments that sends chills down your spine.

Fun Filled Beachside Portraits

After the ceremony, we took advantage of the stunning Nelson Bay coastline for portraits. This is where their personalities truly shone.

Lots of fun. Lots of laughter. Movement. Playful energy. These two did not take themselves too seriously, and it made for the most natural and joy-filled images.

The bright sunshine reflected beautifully off the water, creating crisp, vibrant portraits that perfectly matched the energy of the day.

Reception and Outfit Change at Nelson Bay Bowls Club

The celebration continued at Nelson Bay Bowling Club where the party truly began.

Kelle changed into a second dress for the reception, and it was such a fun transition moment. A fresh look. A fresh burst of energy. And then the dancing began.

From five thirty onward, the reception space was filled with laughter, cheers, and serious dance floor action. This was not a quiet dinner. This was a proper celebration.
