Some weddings feel long-awaited. Deeply desired. Prayed over. Jean Louise and Dylan’s elopement was one of those beautiful days that you could tell had been yearned for.

Held in partnership with Simple Weddings Brisbane at Mercure Brisbane Garden City, this intimate celebration in Mount Gravatt was full of joy, personality, and so much heart.

It is always such a privilege to work alongside Simple Weddings Brisbane. This was not our first elopement together, and we absolutely love the way they create beautiful, stress-free ceremonies for couples who want something meaningful and simple.

A Wedding That Was Truly Yearned For

From the moment Jean Louise arrived, you could feel it. This was a wedding they had waited for. Not rushed. Not casual. Deeply intentional.

The styling and decorations were wonderful. Soft, elegant details that transformed the Mercure Mt Gravatt space into a ceremony setting that felt warm and romantic. Elopements might be smaller in size, but they never lack beauty when planned with care.

Jean Louise and Dylan were hilarious and audacious in the best possible way. There was laughter woven through the nerves. Playful glances. Big personalities contained in an intimate space.

They were completely themselves. And that is always our favourite kind of wedding.

Two Very Special Guests

One of the absolute highlights of the day was their beautiful twin girls. Watching them take in what was happening, seeing their parents say their vows, and being part of the moment added such richness to the ceremony.

Elopements often focus on just the couple, but including children in such a close, intentional way makes the day feel even more meaningful. This was not just a marriage between two people. It was a family moment.

A Beautiful Brisbane Elopement

Eloping at Mercure Mt Gravatt with Simple Weddings Brisbane offers couples the perfect blend of structure and intimacy. Everything runs smoothly, but the day still feels deeply personal.

When Jean Louise and Dylan were pronounced husband and wife, there was a kind of joyful relief in the room. The kind that comes from finally stepping into something long hoped for.

Their portraits were full of energy and connection. They could not stop smiling. And neither could we.

Jean Louise and Dylan, thank you for allowing us to capture such a heartfelt Mount Gravatt, Brisbane elopement. It was an honour to witness your long-awaited day finally unfold.
