Sonia and Paul’s elopement at the National Arboretum Canberra was intimate, joyful, and full of beautiful mountain views. Their ceremony was simple and meaningful, with a Scottish celebrant, open sky, and the rolling Canberra landscape behind them.

Choosing to elope was one of the ways Sonia and Paul saved on their wedding budget. Their day still felt incredibly special, with time for relaxed portraits, sweet close moments, and lots of laughter together.

The Arboretum was a stunning location for their wedding photos, giving the gallery a mix of golden light, wide views, sculptural backdrops, and peaceful natural scenery. Their navy outfits also looked beautiful against the soft green hills.

One of the loveliest parts of their day was how easy and relaxed it felt. Sonia shared that their photographer was lovely, and that calm energy really comes through in the photos.
